Found out today that Roy Disney died. :( He had stomach cancer.
This is like my entire childhood! T_T
I think this is incredibly sad, especially considering his attempts at improving the company, animation and movies, which seem to be proving very successful now.
And according to what I've read, he was the only Disney involved with the company. Now there's no one else. I'm wondering if someone else in the Disney family will get involved in the future? I'm also hoping that another event where Disney's creativity gets lost doesn't happen again because where would find someone like Mr. Disney who would stand up and have the credibility to make changes. Maybe the Pixar people (I've heard good things!), but it's kind of sad that someone from Disney might not be involved.
