Sunday morning going nuts...
What a week! So many deaths, public and private, so many weird and scary things going on in the world. Writing, in many ways, is such a solitary pursuit. There are times I can have the TV murmuring in the background, tuning in mentally if something catches my attention. Other times, I turn it off, put the earbuds in, hit shuffle on the iPod and get into the groove of the music and the rhythm of my words dancing across the pages.
I joined Twitter. While Loudtweet was up and running, I was cross-posting here with my tweets. When I realized the tweets weren't making a lot of sense (I hadn't figured out how to only post my original tweets, not my replies), I stopped, except there was no way to unsubscribe so I set the settings to something that only showed up with a special #hashtag. And then Loudtweet broke. *looks shifty-eyed* I didn't break it. Honest!
This summer is just zipping by! I leave for RWA Nationals in...A WEEK! YIKES! *runs around flailing* Crap! I have so freakin' much to do between now and then. I've got to finish up the paperwork for my passport and get it submitted. I've got to find a formal/dressy dress. I've got to...ACK! I need to make a list. I made a list and I lost it. ACK! *breathes into paperbag*
Okay. Enough dilly-dallying. I've got to knuckle down. It's been nice knowing everyone! I need to disappear again until I get caught back up with my list.
