My PC lives again!!!!!!
The hard-drive hadn't gone kaput - just lost a power connection, and the graphics port had lost a connection and there was a loose......whatever.
Mind you it took long enough for them to find it all out and fix it!
Still - no lost pix or fics and now I have everything nicely copied to 10 cds so if it goes again I won't panic.
