Call me crazy but I've been reading a lot of petitions and what not and I can't say I side where people think I should. For example some people want disposable plastic bags removed from use in stores and want reusable cloth bags to be substituted for them

Ha! I would do the same thing, but then I'd have to bag everything when I get home in order to bring it in without taking 50 trips to the car. I guess I live close enough to Cedar Park to shop there, but it's still out of the way. I wonder if this rule is going to bleed over into the surrounding cities that consider themselves part of Austin. Who knows.

I just pulled out this month's rent invoice and it says trash fees are $5.90. This complex also has "valet trash service" - which is complete SHIT, by the way - and that's $19.01 per month (seriously, how do they come up with these numbers? .01? really?), but they're getting rid of the valet trash service on 01/01/13. I can't tell you how many times I've cleaned up my trash strewn everywhere after raccoons have a hay-day with it, so we take our own trash to the dumpster now. On top of that, the electric bill comes with a "solid waste service" that's $5 (this makes me think I'm getting double charged ... by the city and then by the apartment complex). So, I guess technically it's only $11 per month which isn't terrible.

I don't think you hate children for thinking that way. I think that way, yet I want children. The difference is, my children (if I ever have them) will be taught properly. I won't bore you with the details. But I will say there are FAR too many lazy parents out there that let the TV "teach" their kids. I deal with people all day at work and it's surprising how many idiots are out there.
