(no subject)
Well, February, and that means only one thing - Olaf leaves today (my sorta boyfriend that I have only recently started dating but have grown very attached to). He's gone to London for 3 MONTHS!!! He was offered a contract over there about a month ago, so I knew this was coming but its still doesn't make it any easier today. I dropped him off at the airport this morning and it just felt awful saying goodbye.... *sigh* I know London isn't all that far away but I can't really go visit him (cash flow = zero) It just sucks and I feel the need to complain and moan :(
However, I knew this was going to leave me feeling rather melancholy and wistful, so I booked a weekend vacation with my friends to Barcelona a few weeks ago. Yay! It was Ericka's idea and she convinced everyone to come along. She's such a sweetie ;) So we're all off there on Thursday night and get back Monday morning. It should be fun, I've never been there before and I've heard a lot of good things about the city...
But ooh, what to pack....??
