Omg people, we are the craziest fanbase, I swear! :D
All this storytelling from the twitter characters, and cryptic webpages, and speculation and theorizing and truly amazing smart work being done with decoding and programming by fans with way more math skills than I (check out the comments of this altpress article to see what I mean!)-- I love it, I just looked at my browser history and have done nothing in my online time since Friday but poke around on this puzzle. It's ridiculous and so, so much fun. :)
I keep getting a feeling of a futuristic extrapolation of the Desolation Row video -- punk and Mad Max and zombies and Bladerunner -- this crazy story that may or may not have anything to do with the actual upcoming album. They may just be telling us their version of a bedtime story. *heh*
But cryptic is fun. I love having my mind bent by these guys. :)
