Two entries in two days! I'm on a roll lol. The week before our PoT shoot, I did a very quick shoot with the lovely breathless_ness for Vocaloid, siGrE version. It's one of my personal favorite Vocaloid songs & Jill was very handsome so it was great to shoot this with her ^^

One of the photos got a comment that was something like, "wow beautiful work!". And the person who uploaded it was like, "Thanks!! ^_^ ♥".

The moment I read that, something inside me pretty much snapped. What is the satisfaction in getting praise from other people for something that she didn't do? The person in the photos isn't even her. Part of me thinks she might be a troll because technically, what kind of mental person does that, trying to get favs and compliments from someone else's stuff?

I agree that this person specifically should have their account deleted as there's nothing in there that's her own work. I just don't understand why dA didn't take the right action and instead took the back alley route.

I think they might've had a lot of reports from all over the site to sift through (and so many people helped me send one in lol =P) so maybe they were just like, yeah whatever, let's just do this. And they didn't realize that it wasn't a simple permission issue, it was a complete theft issue, down to identity theft. That's why they set it to the model release form thing, 'coz they thought the thief simply didn't get permission from me to post up the photos, when the actual case was that I wanted the photos taken down completely.

And yeah, I'm really hoping so. The date stamp on my deviations and her stolen photos do tell the story. I'm also VERY lucky that Ray actually watermarked one of the photos I uploaded (he took the photo) with not only his name, but the date as well. I'm hoping beyond hope that dA notices that mine was uploaded at a time corresponding to the date on the watermark, whereas hers was uploaded 1-2 years later. >_>;;

Haha yeah. After this incident I'm no longer sure dA checks all reports thoroughly enough, but here's hoping!
