Harmony here - just making the most of my last entry before I go on my three-week holiday overseas. The 14-hour flight leaves tomorrow morning, Sydney time. I hope I'll have Internet access while I'm overseas so that I can still catch up on everyone's entries

I have relative-perfect pitch
Relative or perfect? I'm a relative-pitch-er, and so is Sis (we had to figure that out on our own, after she dropped music in Year 9 - I think my Mrs Hood horror stories scared her off...!). April in my grade had perfect pitch, but I still beat her at melody dictations in Year 12, BWAHAHAHA XD
My supervisors have received SO many complaints about my rudeness, although I haven't been fired yet because they all agree that customers suck, too. XD
Word. Customer service has to be the worst department of any company to work in, I swear.

Relative. My cousin's also relative; she's still studying music at Uni now, and she calls it relative-perfect, so that's what I call it, too. :P My sister has 100% perfect pitch though, which makes me quite jealous.
Ahahaha Mrs. Hood and HSC Music... Brings back memories. XD

The fact that customers_suck has almost 22 and a half thousand members speaks for itself. :D

Ugh, no. It gives me ear trauma enough to hear wrong notes with relative pitch. Perfect would be a CURSE, I tells ya ; )

Was it as bad for you as it was for me? LOL. She barely ever came to class, and when she did, she liked to tell us how much we sucked. Um, that would be because YOU WERE NEVER THERE TO TELL US WTF WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE LEARNING. Her idea of teaching us was to hand the Peter Sculthorpe LP to Jude (oh public schools - we can even afford a cassette, let alone a CD) and tell us to 'learn it'.
Enjoy LaLa Land! At least it's a shorter flight than London - that screwed me up good and proper : ) Oh - invest in a good eyemask and neck pillow, you'll thank yourself at the other end *nods*

7) I've had my driver's licence for just over a year now, and - believe it or not - I still haven't driven on my own even once. My parents are really uptight about me using their car; if I drive their car, I have to be accompanied by one of them, because they think that otherwise I'll crash it.
Wow, my parents are the total opposite. They basically force me to drive frequently, and made me drive on my own the day after I got my licence...
Have a wonderful time in Los Angeles! :D

Re your parents: that's good though! Because I'm not gonna be able to afford a car anytime soon, I'm scared that I'm going to grow dependent and be unable to drive alone later :/
Thanks so much - I'll see you in three weeks' time! *Huggles* ^_~

I don't think I rock at harmony - I know I still have heaps of room to improve. But, at least I know that harmony is one thing that, unlike with other stuff, I can do without thinking to myself, 'man, I suck at this'. *Has low self-confidence*
Thanks for coming by to comment! *Huggles*

And yeah, harmony is just so much fun, I enjoy it muchly. How's your choir? You really oughta come see one of our musicals sometime, pirates was fantastic (gilbert & sullivan write brilliant music) and Sweet Charity (which we've just started rehearsing) shall be most entertaining. XD
