It is 9:15 on Friday. I think I am almost semi-upright. Decided to pop on LJ for a serious read-through of the friends list, cuz really, when was the last time I had time to do that... at least three or four weeks ago... only to discover that my new Dell and the LJ code do not play well together. For some decidedly odd reason, the Dell digs moonlitviolets, but thinks Eil, Khaki, and LT should burn in hell. *looks* No really, don't take it out on me, it just refuses to display any of your cut messages or images...which is really cool, cuz you post 'papers and icons and cuts, a lot ;D I guess this is where I earn my imagination OR just go back to using my mac, which, oddly, has zero problems with LJ.
Lesse, what have I been doing with myself since mom moved out... hmmmm...
1. Helped remove one trapped baby squirrel from the basement before it decided to join me in my apartment.
2. Discovered that something has died inside the walls of my closet.
3. Have tripped over contents of said closet many times over because they are currently strewn all over the dining room.
4. Bought new 27" tv for new living room. Not sure I have to funds to pay that one back. Oy.
5. Rode the bus 9 times
6. Purchased 2 chocolate croissants and 2 apple turnovers at the pastry shop that is strategically located right beside the bus stop. Managed not to eat all of the above in one day -- no really, it took four days to eat them all. *waves flag*
7. Discovered it takes only 7 minutes to walk from my house to the bus stop. Somehow I don't think that's going to help me lose weight.
8. Discovered that I must have some kind of heat/humidity-related asthmatypethingie because the day it was raining and I tried to climb the massive hill in front of my house I just about died... have climbed said hill 4 other times in the last week, did not almost die on any of those occasions.
9. Found a store that sells previously viewed DVDs right near my office. Purchased 7 dvds in the last 7 days. Grand total for all 7 dvds = $72. The fact that all 7 dvds play without skipping = priceless.
10. Received tape of the Easter Bonnet competition in the mail. No Hugh, but was tickled by the return of some of the cast members from Urinetown, who commented on Hugh's hotness. "Gee, Officer Lockstock, I thought you were straight." "A lot of people in theater are straight, Little Sally... ...Until they meet Hugh Jackman." Hee. Amen, brother.
*votes for gratuitous performance of Bi-Coastal striptease during Tony awards*
Okay, I know, not a hoot in hell of a possibility of that since they've told Hugh he isn't allowed to do any of the flamboyant stuff during the broadcast.
*kicks prudish, homophobic CBS in the ass*
Oh well... prolly the last you'll hear of me for another week or two. Our last round of exams is scheduled to hit at the end of next week and then I'm off into budget hell. Never was trained for that. Should be interesting.
Smoochies to all. Someday I'll be back like a normal person...
