let me tell you, it was NOT easy finding a book about the great depression in canada. i never did, i found a big book about canada with 6 pages about the great depression in it, and found a big book about the great depression with like 5 pages in it about canada. i haven't read those pages yet, i just hope it will give me what i need. he said two sources, so the other can be a website. i'll get 90% of my info from the internet and 10% from the book but at least i used a book. anyway. then amelia and i went to the subway across the street from the downtown library to get some cookies and this lady was SOO rude. we sat in some booth, silently munching on cookies, and this fat spanish bitch comes over and is like "excuse me, GIRLS, this side has already been closed, you AREN'T SUPPOSED TO SIT HERE." we're like, oh, sorry, it didn't say anywhere that this was closed. shes like "didn't you notice the chair blocking the walkway? YOU MOVED IT" and i was like i didn't realize it was supposed to be in the middle of the walkway, and she just hissed DON'T MAKE A MESS. i was tempted to make the table as messy as possible and write BITCH on a napkin, but decided against it and just left the table as clean as possible. i regret that now.
oh and i reccommend that movie the pursuit of happyness, it was really good. if you like those emotional real-life movies that make you cry. not sad crying, everyone in that theater was crying when the good part happened, i won't spoil it though. the only thing that sucked was that we got there right on time and the theater was practically full so we had to sit right down by the front, so my neck ached by the end.
