Yesterday was another nice day! I enjoyed the delicious warm granola/oatmeal/apple/etc showcase at Prospect. Then I spent the afternoon watching Hable Con Ella (Almodovar), and cutting up magazines, and listening to our recording of Faure's Requiem. Basically not doing anything homework related. Except I did start to get stuff together for the glee club scrapbook. At dinner (again at Prospect, yum), Shannon, Kylie, Ari, Sarah and I decided to go for a walk because it was so nice outside. Not only did we go for a walk, but we were explorers! We went up past the equestrian center, then up the path on top of the Delles hill, and kept going down that path, which lead us all the way past a water tower and to the Ham/MacG parking lots.

Look at the red path! The red dot more to the right marks our starting point, and the left dot is where we came out. Our dorms are in the bottom right corner.

Then we had to get ready for the date auction, which we arrived at in time to get good seats. It was a pretty funny date auction, Amanda made some money for the cause, and we will all have to remember it with our minds' photographic memories, because I forgot to take photos. It was just so exciting I forgot until it was all over! After Ari and I decided we couldn't take it anymore, we tried to find other things to do, and when everyone else was being lame (tired) and sleeping, we watched My Life To Live (or, Vivre sa vie), by Godard. What did we expect? We should have seen it coming. Spanish and French in one day! I am so multilingual. Except not.

So now it's April! Always a good month at Mount Holyoke. Probably most other places, too. I am excited to have great sitting-outside-doing-homework weather. And a green campus.
