I still smell like chlorine.
Had an interesting weekend. Went down to Wisconsin Dells to hang out with Benzorz's family whilst they were on vacation. It was kinda weird to be there without having Benzorz with me, especially since I only met his family once before, but overall I had a pretty good time. Though it was too early in the season for the outdoor parks to be open, there were still three indoor parks for plenty of water-based fun. The massive wavepool was a definite favorite. :3
Was gone from Saturday until Tuesday afternoon. The drive took almost exactly three hours, and while the majority of the trip was uneventful, each way had it's own little perks. On the way there it downpoured and I missed my turn off, so I go to backtrack for a good 15 minutes in the middle of no where and the rain making it extremely hard to read road signs. Then on the way back I got pulled over by a cop since I was going 5 miles over the speed limit and went into a construction zone because I was trying to take a picture of the pretty bluffs and was a little slow turning off the cruise control. Luckily, he was really cool about it, probably since I told him the truth of what I was doing, and just gave me a warning. So yay for nice cops.
I just wish I hadn't had to work right after I got back. I was kinda a mess since I had been going to sleep a lot earlier over the weekend. We got hit pretty hard too, especially at the beginning, but the flow didn't really taper off like usual. But on the bright side, and old coworker who was gone on disability for almost a year came back. Melissa is really cool, and it was nice catching up with her.
Today is blah. It's rainy and cloudy and just...blah. Haven't done anything except catch up on internet stuff and messed around a little in PS. Just don't feel like doing anything, but for the sake of not sounding lazy, let's just say I'm "recovering" from the trip. ;3
Tomorrow I'll do stuff. Probably. Hopefully.
