the past two weeks
The past couple weeks have been interesting, though not always in such a good way. I miss my Benzorz a lot; the first week I couldn't sleep for more then 5 hours at a time since the bed felt so weird. I'd wake up at 7-8am and not be able to get back to sleep at all, which led me to being a mess at work, and then after work I'd collapse immediately at 2:30-3am. Basically I didn't do much at all that week aside from be a breathing flesh-lump. I missed a phone-call from Benzorz on Wednesday, and that really bummed me out for awhile. Haven't gotten any letters yet, but hope I do soon.
Easter weekend was a bit of an adventure. On Saturday, I went up to St.Cloud with Megan and Teresa to see Megan's aunt and cousin. There was a Japanese-themed night at St. Cloud University that her cousin (Stephanie) was participating in, and since there would be food and free goldfish (and we had nothing else to do) we went. The taiko drumming was really sweet, despite everyone not knowing their parts 100%, but meh. The food was different and edible, but the majority of my attention was on the little lesbian sitting next to me who wouldn't stop hitting on me. She was really young and totally not my type, and she wouldn't stop talking dirty about just about every girl who came up on the stage and also myself. At one point she wanted to "borrow me for an hour or so" and that was it. I was officially creeped out. Megan actually made a fake phone-call to give us an excuse to leave after the presentations were over. Megan was also hit on by another lesbian (who was even creepier then my lesbian) so after much aversion and awkwardness, we all high-tailed it as soon as it was deemed appropriate. On the way back we couldn't stop laughing about it.
Easter Sunday was thankfully much less dramatic. My sister picked me up --after having me wait downstairs for 30 minutes because her car is retarded-- and we went to the parent's house for turkey and other delicious foodstuff. Aside from my sister being her usual turd-self, I had a good time playing with the puppies, visiting, and eating strawberry shortcake.
This last week I was a bit more productive, plus started to sleep a little better. I actually had to kinda surround myself with pillows to make the bed seem smaller. It was super effective. Since the weather was so nice (high 60s and low 70s WTFYAY!) I tried to be outside; so I'd go to the house sometimes to be with the dogs and take them on walks. On Thursday I did some shopping: Bought a pair of jeans and some picture frames from Goodwill plus a new belt and pair of sunglasses from Kohl's. Friday I made a trip to the library which was followed by a much needed haircut then grilled steak at the house. It was OMG scrumptious.
Today I should've gone food shopping or something. I haven't done that since Benzorz left. But there's still food laying around. I can always make Ramen or have a bowl of cereal, no big deal. Since tomorrow it's supposed to rain and suck, that'll have to be a chore for Monday...
