Sigh
Finally got a hold of my mom last night after not being able to contact her for two days. Seems they rushed my dad to the ER where they sat for twelve hours before he was admitted. Seems he has kidney stones which explains the constant back pain as well as being impacted. They've admitted him and put him on an IV hoping to flush the kidney stones. As for the rest, well they have meds for that too.
Seems the doctor out of Iowa, LA is not at all pleased with my dad's condition. He has deteriorated over the past few months which has the Dr putting in the call to place dad into the VA home. As for the rest, well, lets just say that the idiot doctor for the insurance has contradicted himself and is going to be in a world of hurt in the next few months as things come up for review.
Me, myself and I? Well, still hanging in though the stress has caused a few problems with the disease. With all that has to be done before May, I simply do not have time to stop and say.. TIME OUT. I need a time out. Nope.. got garb to sew, things to arrange, bills to figure out on top of all that comes with being a parent of a senior not only in high school but one in college as well.
