so I've been upgraded to the new Scrapbook (without camel casing) and I can post pictures easily now
Doesn't seem to be an easy way to shift pictures around galleries (I had to sort a number of SW gifs out of my unsorted gallery) so this is all under the "Unsorted" album.

This time I tried to take pictures of people. It was not exactly the most successful of attempts. First I sat in the green, leafy walk between the music department and the stadium, and tried to take pictures there. I have a DSLR, so it's not like my camera was inconspicuous or anything. Then I walked past the wedding party, stumbled upon another wedding party, and took pictures of flowers and things.
Sitting on the sun-scorched steps of one of the colleges. I just like how his book was exceedingly blue.
While I was sitting on the metal benches that were clustered around an intersection, this gentleman arrived and set himself up with a guitar, a music stand, and used a clamp to pin music to the stand to practise.
This is the intersection I was sitting at. This little strip of land runs inside the campus, following the course of a long-buried creek. Old trees grow next to the path, so it's shady cool even at noon, when I went.
A couple across the intersection from me. I just liked the contrast in yellow/red and the greenery.
Looking south along the path, to where a wedding party was having a photoshoot. If you look closely, on the right side, there's the white blur of the bride's veil.
Aimed the camera straight up - clicked - I love RAW files. I can actually see veins in the leaves.

Along one of the foot lanes that connect the streets.
Every time I go to campus on the weekend, I trip over weddings. This was in the courtyard, where there was a giant marquee and silver chairs set out in two aisles and also a flower garden. The flower garden was the better part.
Just one of the dogs accompanied by humans enjoying the fine weather. I like how sharp the dog came out against the background, though the depth of field was probably pretty big; I was swinging the camera around trying track the dog.
The second marriage party was shooting along K College when I passed; I sat down on a rock to think what to do next, and then I saw them pass by, the groom holding up his bride's frothy skirts as they moved to a new spot. These are the two photographers: I'm still not sure why they positioned the couple in the shade of the building (you can see how the kneeling one is in shadow) but I liked the red sunglasses and the way the sunlight fell on him.
More leaves and sun.

It seems that the campus is a tourist spot. The girl on the left, however, is definitely a student.
