Holy Snowfall Batman!
Just 2 more days until I'll be in Seattle!! yay!! I'm trying to bust out a bunch of work for my job and for school such that I'm in good standing with things when I leave. I can barely contntain myself. I haven't seen Adam since January 21st..which was more than 2 months ago... waaay too long. When I get there Adam's going to pick me up, then on Friday I get to hang out with Mark and Kristen and go to the BSG party that night at Emily and Nathan's place. Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday I have to go to my conference for work, which should be interesting, but a little tiring. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday I will be either visiting with people who aren't working (Christie on Friday?) or working on stuff for work and school. The following weekend I think Adam and I will be celebrating our 4 year anniversary and his birthday. Anniversary was last Friday, Birthdays not for another 2 weeks, but hey, you gotta celebrate when you can!
We got a TON of snow in Minneapolis yesterday. It was the really wet and heavy "heart attack" snow. I think my house got around 5 inches or so. It's supposed to get up into this 50's tomorrow I think, so that should make a lot of puddles.
Today I'm meeting with a rep from a pathology lab to try and find out how much it costs to process tissue biopsies. It's AMAZING to me how difficult it is to get companies to cough up their price sheets! I don't think they hear me when I say "I'm not actually going to buy this, I just need to know how much it costs!"
Yesterday I bought a bunch of new clothes online as part of my continuting effort to have clothes that are good for work.
