chasing the highway like a dirty gravel rainbow.
what a morning. i left my wallet with all of my debit and credit cards, along with my drivers license, on the train this morning. luckily, i keep my cash in my checkbook, so i still have that. i called and cancelled all of my cards this morning, and also had to close my bank account and open another one, because i had written down my account number on the back of a business card when i first opened the account and forgot to throw it away.
i sneaked out of the train station through the emergency exit, because my clipper card was in my wallet too, got on my bike and started riding, looking forward to the adrenaline rush of a 7-mile ride, and within a mile got a huge piece of metal stuck in my back tire. epic fail.
dear lord bb jesus, i would like to wake up again and start this day over. plzkthx.
otherwise, life has been pretty damn good. i'm "prospectin'" for a bike gang called crucifixed, school is going really well, and both of my jobs are too. i just got back from a lovely vacation to visit my family in chicago, and my mommy is coming to visit me at the end of may. myke and i are doing really well, and our apartment is getting increasingly more cute. (except that it's a complete disaster right now because i haven't had a day off or any time to clean.)
tomorrow, i'm hanging out with lindsay before school and also doing the big pile of dishes in my sink. yay!
this afternoon, crucifixed is putting on a bikes n beers event, if you show up on two wheels you get free beer painted like easter eggs. i'm pretty excited, even though i have to get my bike fixed in order to get there. oh well.
