so, life has been quite agreeable lately.
i quit my job at urban outfitters, so i no longer have to be to work at 6 am, and i now only have 2 jobs. i didn't really quit in the most professional way possible... i just kind of stopped showing up. i really enjoy working at Elixir Salon with Melody and Lindsay, and I'm only at Herbivore two days a week now. Charity and I have more time to spend together and we've also been playing some shows lately. she's baking and working on the line at aunt mary's cafe, with our roommate megan and her girlfriend Bridget.
my mom is coming to visit in august! i'm so excited, i want to take the entire time that she's here off work. so much fun. we are going to see my 12 year old cousin Allie play an orphan in the play Annie while she's here.
and THEN, in september, i am going to visit my dad in new york, and also the lovely Kelsey in astoria! charity is going to come out there for a couple of days, hopefully, she's never been to new york or manhattan before. i can't wait to bring her to all of my favorite places in the city.
