i cut open the cast and found that my arm had disappeared.
figured out why my sewing machine wouldn't thread properly-it's missing a major component (the upper thread takeup lever.) i'm pretty upset because i feel like i take really good care of my belongings but they somehow manage to get broken or fucked up anyway, no matter what i do.
richard selwach (the owner of the pawn shop on 6th st) is running for mayor of gainesville and i wish i was a registered voter in alachua county so that i could vote against him. he wants to abolish the office of equal opportunity, among other things.
in other news, kickin' devil cafe has a women's music night every thursday and i can't wait to go again, it was really fun. and palomino, the pool hall that just opened, is also a delightful place to spend my time and money.
