Onward through the night...

Jade had left.

Fury had chimed her phone and told her that one of the companies she was currently working for needed her up there right away. Jade had sighed in frustration, patted Echo's hood and left. Fury's had thrown up dust and gravel in an overly ostentatious display as she tore out of the grounds.

Echo had stayed here, driving around slowly, scanning and cataloguing and observing, humming or singing softly to herself as she did so. Watching the FLAG employees at their daily tasks, talking and laughing and arguing. Echo tracked the various wireless signals flying through the air, watching thier signal patterns dance and shimmer... pretty.

A helicopter hung in the air above the mansion, casting a shadow on the ground. Echo scanned it, confused. It had no FLAg markings, and the people in it appeared to be armed... Echo felt a tricle of worry flash past her processor...

But the thought was obliterated from her conciousness when she saw Michael and Kitt racing through the grounds. The black car was moving strangely... almost unsteadily, which went against everything Echo knew about Kitt and his driver. The car lurched towards the garage and Echo followed as quickly as she dared, unable to keep up with Kitt's formidible speed.

She reached the open door of the garage in time to see Michael's shaking hands slam a keycard into a small slot...

Then Echo's scanners must have malfunctioned, because she simply could not have seen what she thought she did. The inside of the garage seemed to twist and warp - shimmering like heat waves rising from a hot rock... Echo tried to send a transmission to Kitt, but it was apparently too late.

And then they were gone.

Echo's worry turned into full-blown panic.

Opening her internal communications software, Echo started to compose an email.

Jade, Fury...I need you...
