During my search for inspirational writers I came across Elizabeth Barrette. At the beginning of this month I had purchase Llewellyn's datebook. (I got a thing for the artwork, I think it's sooo pretty.) Barrette happened to have done the written work in said datebook. So in my search I found her name and decided to google it. I found a few links, but what boasted my interest was that I found her LJ. So I friended her, nothing like seeing another author's work to get the mind going. Truth is I like her poetry, or atleast what little I saw of it. It seems she is able to create vivid images of what she is trying to get across, of course the happy pictures lend a hand, and so do title's, but I just felt like saying that I like her work. She seems to be really involved in community stuff, especially with the spiritual community. Anyone who is a part of something like that I sort of envy. Being surrounded and accepted fully by people who barely know you, gods I miss Boston sometimes. In any case, check out her stuff and here's her LJ
