Because sometimes I feel obligated to update.
I can't decide whether or not I'm enjoying all the time off. On the one hand, not having to go to school is a plus, but on the other, I've been rather trapped here for the past few days apart from a few brief outings (Steel City, movies with fam, and Cabella's, aka The Poor Man's Disneyworld) and I haven't been sleeping well at all. I keep having weird, stressful dreams about my violin getting destroyed and other such bizarrities and waking up a lot. I think I actually get more stressed when I don't have anything to do. I also have not heard back from Schreyer, who are allegedly supposed to get their decision to me by Wednesday. In any case, I don't think I'll be skipping school on Tuesday after all. My mom suggested I just skip another day when I actually NEED the time off, which sounds like a much better plan to me.
On a more intriguing note, this Friday is the Jazz Band home show (which I plan on hosting for), and apparently a particular member of Souderton's band is this guy who I was "married" to in preschool. Ahh, my (and Carolyn's!) first love! Haha, we sometimes talk about him, but I don't think either of us has actually seen the guy since we were about four and half, so this should be immensely entertaining. I'll have to remember to bring my camera.
