Productivity, anyone?
My pledge to be productive this week is starting to pay off. Tracy came over Sunday and we pwned the US homework (we kick ass at roleplaying as southern farmers and Baptist ministers and slaves defining exploitation), and yesterday Cody and I performerd at venue #1 for our grad project.
Playing violin for old people is mostly cool, but can be scary. On the way out, this one old man who I didn't see actually listening to us play approached me very quickly, "tripped," grabbed onto my arm like a vice and started pawing at my hands while he talked about how the senior crowd is a tough one to play for, but his own musical background made him really appreciate my playing, and that I should definitely come and perform for him again. It was creepy. Also, he had crazy caterpillar eyebrows.
