Happy Leap Day
This week has felt very weird to me. Last weekend I volunteered all day saturday at the national ocean science bowl competition for high schoolers so i didnt feel like i had a full weekend. then on wednesday we had a student/professor social at school and were kicking back the glasses of wine so it felt like a friday. i didnt have my class on monday so we had a makeup class yesterday, so yesterday felt like a monday. and i assume today is friday but it doesnt really feel like it since my week has been so mixed up. not to mention keivn is in oregon this week and i kept hearing how cold and rainy it is there all the time, meanwhile kevin is telling me its warm (low 70s) and sunny there, while it is cold and rainy here. i think the whole world has flipped on its head, like inside-out boy from nickelodeon back in the day.
Kevin has his second interview of the week today in oregon and i hope it goes well so he can make a decision finally. though i'm sure he wont until he visits new hampshire, even though ive been less than subtle about not really wanting to go up there. ugh, i just need to know so i can start asking professors and other scientists i know here if they know people wherever who would give me a job :(
i hope it warms up enough to go to the beach on sunday...
