(no subject)
ive been working on refurbishing this table for like 2 weeks now, i thought it would take like 3 days. but such is life when you have to take into account rain days and humidity that makes watching paint dry take 3x's as long as the idiomatic expression implies. it has a turqouise top and black legs and is beautiful! though stupid bugs keep landing in the paint as it ever so slowly dries. and i bought some bright orange and green plates and stuff to go with it for like a dollar at target! I'm going to have the brightest dining room ever! not bad for a free junky table i got from my neighbors when they moved :)
having that to do is pretty much the only thing keeping me sane right now, and even that is just barely working. im so ready for school, im sad i cant move into my apartment until Aug 12, my mom seems to think that we will be able to get all of my crap to st pete between my car and the CRV but she forgets its not like college, i have actual furniture and stuff to take with me this time. im looking into a u-haul or something... cant wait for all the frustrations and arguements that will surely ensue that weekend.
