haha, so i got a reply from a national park service job i applied for last summer!! it says im a finalist for the job position and they will let me know the results within 90 days! shit, ill be in St Pete in less than 90 days...i love how fast the government works :P
me and kevin are going to busch gardens tomorrow!! yayayayay!! (people are still welcome to join us even just for the day on tuesday if you should feel so inclined, though we got a hotel for $49) im so excited about that friggin roller coaster, its almost sad. but tomorrow evening there is also a coral workshop in dania beach being held by NOAA people on the status of stag and elk horn coral in florida. kevin doesnt get out of work till 7:30 so i wonder if i can make it to at least a little bit of the meeting which starts at 6.
I "quit" my job at the bookstore, if you can count going from 5 hours a week to 0 hours much of a difference. seriously my last paycheck from them was $11 (after insurance). its a good thing i have the second job or id be a sad sight. and i applied for an internship with an environmental consulting firm in coral gables. we will see if i get that.
