I started this story in the long, long gap between series 1 and 2 of Downton Abbey. I never got around to finishing it then, but I’m picking it up again now, and I will definitely finish it this time - the whole story is properly planned out!

The story is set after the war, but because it was started before series 2, it diverges from the second series so it’s now basically an AU. That being said, I hope you still give it a read and I hope you enjoy it!
