(no subject)
Yesterday marked the last day of classes. I would like to scream "EVER!" at the end of that sentence, however I do have ambitions to gain my MBA which means I will be attending classes again.
OK, last classes EVER for a bachelor's degree XD
It feels a tad bittersweet. There's a large part of me that's saying "oh thank God!" that it's over. But there's another part that's feeling sad at leaving. I made some good friends there, along with being a part of a great organisation, CAB.
But I suppose all things have to come to an end, and it just means I have now a big future ahead of me where I'm going to have to start making decisions on where I want to go. Obviously, I have my internship for the Summer, and two CLEPs to kick out of the way. But once that's done - what do I do? Do I stay on with Tesoro in Internal Audit, as I know they'll extend to me the offer? Do I try my luck with one of the Big 4 accounting firms and start becoming an expert in international accounting or even consulting so that they can pay for my MBA?
Choices, choices. But I'll be talking to a few people over the summer as to what I should do. I'm leaning a fair bit towards the Big 4, just because it gives me the opportunity to travel. Jay doesn't particularly like me to do that, just because I'd be on the road more often than not. But I'll try it out and see how it fits. Never know until you go, or something like that.
On another note, Jay realised that one cannot live on Ramen noodles alone XD He broke the diet yesterday, after only three days on it. He nearly fainted from lack of glucose. Just goes to show, one cannot live on ramen alone. heh.
I'm going to get down and serious with my car today. I found a Honda dealership that I like, with a salesperson that I like, with a financing program that I like, with the Fit model that I like, just with a colour that I don't like - Silver. I know that I'm a fan of silver (duh, look at the name) but everyone and his dog has a silver car - it's the new white. Besides, the Orange metallic, the Blue Pearl or the bright red look so much more exciting XD
