Life's fun things.
My life took a change for the better this past Thursday(25 May), I went to Trinity's house to watch the last episode ever of Charmed that she had on her Tivo. She had invited a small group to come watch, but only 2 of us showed up. A new friend of hers, Alicia and myself. Alicia is a very nice and intelligent woman and I was attracted to her. We went for a walk outside at one point and I asked her out, surprise to me she said yes.
We sat and talked after the show was over out by the cars and had our first kiss. We talked and made plans to meet on Sunday after I got finished with MJ. We decided to call Thursday night our first date. Date 2 on Sunday started interestingly. I was not reachable most of the weekend being out in the woods for MJ, plots take strange twists and life goes on. On to date 2. Sunday she was still at church when I called on my way home from the game and so we played phone tag until I had gotten cleaned up and some of the things removed from the car. I go pick her up and we head to Trinity's house. After a little while there Trin and Russell needed to go to Wally World for some things. So we all get into cars and go to Oxford to shop. We stop to get Alicia a sewing pattern for her first Ren Faire dress. We will both be attending the Faire in Charlton on this coming Sunday. I am not sure what time we will be getting there, but the plan is to be there. I have KAF rehearsal that day that I have to show for part of and she has church. Alicia and I then went to the new Chili's in Auburn for supper, pleasent meal with more good talk between us. Drive back down to finish off the evening giving birthday wishes to Trinity. Alicia had to work on Monday. So in the morning I went to my Aunt's house to do outside stair repair. Get finished with that in time to make the start of the BBQ at
shogunhb house. I get the call that I have been waiting for and off I go to pick up Alicia. We get back to the BBQ and she is shy, but does join in the talking and a good time is had by all. We then head to the 6:45 showing for X3. It is in the Director's room at Blackstone which costs $2 more, but nicer chairs and researved seating. Good movie overall unless you are a storyline fanatic. You need to wait till after the credits though. Then we drive back towards her house, I pull over to the side of the road so that we are not in front of her house and talk for another hour. Get her home, and go in to talk more with her parents and then we go back outside to talk for another hour or so. Time seems to fly while we are together and just talking to learn more about each other. Time with friends is good, time with new girl friend great.
