Added a carboard frame to reinforce the horns, and added a teeny bit more foam today. I'm beginning to reach the limit of what I can do without the fur. Hopefully I can get to the fabric store this weekend.
I think I've decided on 2 colors, but which colors depends on what fur I can find. Black and red is what I'm aiming for, but I'll just have to wait and see what they have. I was going to use just one color at first; it would be way easier, but it would look pretty...blah. o_O
The wings were a sticking point too, but I think I've solved that one. After asking around, the Gargoyles "cloak style" wings wouldn't look out of place on my dragon. It's the easy way out too! I don't have to worry about getting them to stand up, they won't break off in the wind, and I already have a pair of wings on a large paper mache sculpture that I can harvest. ;)
