So since I am home, and writing is one of those processes that happens as much when you aren't actually putting words on paper as when you are, I have been knitting and spinning quite a bit, no crochet though, my poor cabled sweater is still sitting untouched since Christmas and I am tempted to just frog it and save the yarn for a knitted sweater because I am just not enjoying it or liking how dense the fabric is turning out.

First the knitting, I am about halfway through my Woodland Shawl (it will be much larger after being blocked, I have been promised by a lady in my spinning group who made one for herself).

Spinning
I have two things on the spindles, one is merino/silk and the other alpaca
The Merino-Silk blend, will be a two ply fingering weight when completed, and is destined to become a scarf or a shawl depending on how much yarn comes from the 4 oz.

The alpaca, will be a 2 ply aran weight, which I don't know what it will be made into yet

A snapshot of the shelf where the spindles live with my project box...currently full of half-used balls of yarn, crochet hooks, and random notion
