I have been forced to take time away from hurricane tracking to pay attention to the McCain campaign. I think that John McCain should have asked me to be his running mate instead of Sarah Palin. I know I'm a durn foreigner, but I ~do~ get a portfolio, don't I?

I'm thinking Secretary of English Literature...I'll go into schools and pummel young children with copies of Austen and Dickens...

You could be English Literature Liaison for the Former Colonies of Great Britain. You'd have global influence and lots of travel to Australia, India, Burma and other fun places. You'll do a fine job pummeling youth with books because even after Harry Potter, they still don't read enough!
