1. How did you get to school?
I rode the schoolbus to St. Clement of Rome in Metairie, LA for grades K-8. I took the bus to St. Mary's Dominican High School in New Orleans my freshman year, car pooled my sophomore year and drove my white 1979 Chevy Vega through junior and senior year.
2. What scary creatures did you think were in your childhood bedroom?
I wasn't worried about what was under the bed. I was always scared of the creepy crawlies like roaches and spiders I imagined hanging around on the ceiling above my bed.
3. What was the most fun subject in elementary school, and what the subject you dreaded the most?
Reading and phonics were my favorites and I dreaded math (ironic since I now spend all day using those skills.)
4. At what age did you start school?
I was five years and one month when I started kindergarten.
5. Where did you grow up?
Metairie, LA - just west of New Orleans.
