Well, that's a relief!

That's still quite a lot of things to replace, though. How many people are out and about in your neighbourhood? Is it still pretty quiet?

Lots of relief! Our neighborhood is still very quiet and a lot less green. So many trees were blown down!

So, are you going to rebuild and stay? Is your insurance gonna take care of everything?

Thanks for the hug! We are definitely planning to stay in our house. We have not had an adjuster come yet and see the house. Based on our policies - flood and homeowners - we are hopeful that all the damage will be covered.

Are you leaving for Rita? We had planned on going home this weekend, the fact I can't has hit me really hard.

We are so lucky to have most of our things okay. We are not planning to leave yet. The latest on Rita still shows it hitting the central Texas coast. We'll hopefully know more by this evening.
