I think I may have gotten the job at Ikea. Shit. I really don't know if I can manage 20+ hours a week. Especially when my base payrate will be $14.60. For that much physical labour, I really would rather working at Safeway. Which does have better pay. What should I do if I get the job?
Also, I was downloading the Adobe Illustrator CS2 trial (I need my Live Trace!) and all of a sudden, my computer started typing backwards. I then got an email with the subject headline: You are being Hijacked!
It turned out to be a message from IdN, a design magazine I subscribe to in regards to a new book they’ve published. Elaborate marketing or did I actually have some sort of bug on my computer?
And my trial copy of Illustrator doesn't work. Perfect. Like that was worth 399MB and 3 hours waiting for. I'm now in typography class and I'm feeling so shitty I can't even derive joy from making typefaces and I don't want to talk to anyone.
