Made It Through Christmas
Well, we made it through Christmas. It is lonely being away from family and friends for the holidays. We met a nice couple at the UU Christmas dinner and they invited us to a New Years Eve party. I'm looking forward to some good conversations. The Wife has A.D. also and it will be interesting to see how she and Tom interact with each other. I've heard that New Years Eve parties here in Sun City West usually end at around 10:00.....right after the ball drops in NYC. You can drive around here at night and the roads are practically deserted.
I have found a good walking partner in David's Mom. She and I are about the same age, height and weight and walk at about the same pace. It sure is nice to have someone to talk to. I'm trying to get into the local pottery group here so I can get my hands in some clay. I sure hope it happens! I took this photo this morning....I guess Flickers like nectar too!
