Weekend Wrap Up (07/21/13)
I had a hell of a week and I needed some help from a friend of mines to get through the weekend. I was supposed to meet up with this girl and have fun with her down in NYC but long story short. She never showed up and I felt super disappointed and sad.
Saturday:
I decided to go watch a comedy movie with a female friend of mines and she even wore a nice dress for me. Well, it was more for her benefit because it was hot as hell that day but she isn't the dress type of girl. She loves her jeans and tees. She loves jeans so much that she has a denim jacket that she ended up wearing to cover her shoulders because she was uncomfortable with them being bare. I hate that denim jacket so much that I hid it in my backpack for awhile and tried to get her out of her comfort zone. She threatened to go home if I didn't give her the jacket back. She whined like a little kid about it. I finally gave it back to her and she was so mad that she was still going to leave. I had to get down on my knees and grovel to get her to come back into the mall with me. She told me to get up quickly because it was embarrassing for her. We decided to grab something to eat before going to see Let Me Explain from Kevin Hart. This is my first time ever watching a comedy special in the movies. After the movie which was hilarious and did the trick of lifting my spirits since I was a bit down in the dumps. We went dress shopping because she wanted to change the dress she was in for this guy that she was supposed to meet later on. He ended up cancelling on her. I love going clothes shopping with her because she doesn't know how to really dress herself. It's a bit odd but I help her out more than she knows. There always comes a point though when she starts going against my advice so much that I just become fed up and let her choose whatever she wants and tell her to not ask for my advice anymore. I went to Spencers to get some shot glasses because I started feeling depressed again and decided I was going to buy some shot glasses and then liquor when I got back home. I may have forgot to mention it but we were about 30 mins from home a few towns over. It was the only place showing the Kevin Hart movie. Jekyll really screwed the pooch and was out and about in a big force that whole week and subsequently the weekend as well. We made it back home and I ended up buying some vodka and some wine. Both of them are too smooth to even require shot glasses but I guess I could still with the vodka. I ended up just drinking some of the wine and going to bed with The Call showing on my laptop. I got about five minutes into it before falling asleep.
