Diet day 16 or day G1

So I have been on this diet for 16 days now, but today is the first day I actually need to be on it. This is my official day 1 (G1 for Gin 1). The longer I am on it the worse the cravings get, I seriously considered just going through a drive thru yesterday and getting myself either a plain hamburger from McDonald's or a soft shell taco from Taco Bell. Brad made the point that it would probably make things harder since I would have that one taste then have to give it all up again, I trusted that logic then but now.....lol. Let's just say my meals are unsatisfying. I want to chew! I want flavor! I also thought that that one burger or taco would undo all the dieting I have been doing, it already seems that Brad is so far ahead of me loosing weight, 20 lbs. at last count, which is friggin awesome for him, but now I fear he will at least for a while weigh less than I.

He was awesome last night and got me Meijer brand cottage cheese, I have been eating a brand I don't even like because Wal-Mart is closer than Meijer. I have 4 more days to eat cottage cheese and veggies, then I switch to just shakes and milk. I can't wait for the surgery to be over, I can't wait to progress back to normal foods. I am fine with eating a little bit then feeling full as long as I get to eat good tasting food.

The next 2 weeks I am going to love having Brad home with me, but at the same time they are going to move super slow. I am waiting for my surgery, I am waiting for our tax paperwork, I am waiting to hear if the other application needs any more information. Money is a BIG stress issue for me right now, and the sooner all of this is over the sooner job hunting and other things can begin.

I think the stress is causing some of the cravings too, not all of them, only a little piece, the main thing is I have eaten the same thing every day for 16 days.
