A very small sampling of some of my favourite punk and/or rock* artists for your aural pleasure:

+ The New York Dolls -- Subway Train [buy it]. One of the greatest influences on The Sex Pistols, bordering on classic rock and punk.
+ The Sex Pistols -- No Feelings [buy it]. No feelings for anybody else / except for myself / my beautiful selfish. Brilliant stuff, gloriously nihilistic.
+ The Undertones -- Chains of Love [buy it]. I love The Undertones. Everyone seems to know 'Teenage Kicks', but if you haven't heard more, indulge!
+ The Buzzcocks -- Orgasm Addict [buy it]. With a title like that you know this track's going to be a laugh.
+ Green Day -- Deadbeat Holiday [buy it]. Gasp! A non-American Idiot track. And it's from what many may consider their weakest album, but I love it to bits. Also, with lyrics like 'You're living on a landmine / Vacation hotspots is a cemetery drive', I always thought it'd make a great Buffy fanvid. Ahem.
