a confession and a plea
Hmm..I think that title makes what I'm about to write sound a lot more dramatic than it actually is, but bare with me.
The confession? I'm about 3/4 of my way through Order of the Phoenix, and this is the first time I've read it. Gasp! Yes, I know what happens, and yes, I know what happens in Half-Blood Prince too, and it's not distracted from my enjoyment. Oh HP fandom, be merciful.
Anyway, this leads to the question part. I realize I already have a lot of books on my shelves that I haven't read, and many of them are your fairly standard fare, classics and popular fiction (and a lot of obscure philosophical and academic texts on the not-so standard side). I really need to branch out more - I have no excuse to be narrow in my tastes.
So, do me a favour?
