Everyone who saw Psych this week knows everything this post is going to say already, and has probably said something similar XD
I ship Shawn with both Gus and Lassiter, and I'm starting to see the justification for Gus and Lassiter oh god what have I become? (Seriously, Gus offering to hold his groceries was adorable o__o)
The blindfold moment = YES. (Especially because I kinda thought Shawn might have not liked blindfolds because they reminded him of his father's crazy brain exercises and HELL YES, PARTIALLY-VERIFIED HEADCANON. XD) And Lassiter asking if he could take it off? Seriously? Whee.

Henry's awesome puzzle skills are awesome. And, oh man, "This is the part where you ask me for advice" or whatever? Writers, I love you guys. I love you so much. They nailed this shit so hard. All of the relationships between everyone and how they all care about cupcakes more than each other. Fucking beautiful.
The Kenny Loggins thing went way over my head, since I wasn't familiar with the guy's name before, oops. And apparently one of the writers came up with the name without having known about the guy, either. XD I-It's kind of cute, how they fanboy the guy in their commentary for a minute. (As is listening to them describe what they think Shawn's apartment looks like ♥)
My real qualm with the episode was, really, do you have to make the new partner the bad guy? It's not his fault he's being reassigned to Juliet, nor that he finds her attractive, nor is he sticking around as a main character once Lassiter is reinstated -- but that's no reason to spotlight him and then ship him away. It was... gah. From the second they showed that look at the beginning, you knew it had to be one of those guys. (I almost shit myself when they looked past McNab -- OH GOD I LOVE HIM DON'T MAKE HIM A BAD GUY. XD;; Can we have another episode about him, please?)
At least it was a guy we were exposed to the whole time. When it's "that guy over there, lol!" and he never had a speaking line, ugh. So, yeah.
I'm also kind of a moron. As a writer, I think I should pay attention to all of the writers of the shows I watch, you know? I totally didn't recognize Tim Meltreger's name from two episodes, argh. >.>;; (Talk Derby to Me and Dis-Lodged, thanks imdb). I can't remember the other guy's name and I'm too lazy to rewatch the commentary, oops. Kell something.

Apparently, also, there was a line about how Shawn wanted it on the record that Lassiter was the one who pursued him in the false relationship, but it was cut for some reason. I started tuning out of the video at that point because it had like ten seconds left. XD;;
