Psych gets slashier every week~ :3
We were supposed to be able to start sending in deposits for next year's dorm housing at 9 AM. I woke up at nine after falling asleep at around seven, refreshed the page for 20 minutes, found nothing. Didn't check again 'til after 10, but it was probably up before. I love it when the school is on time about things. x.o; Ended up falling back asleep and waking up ten minutes into my first class. Skipped it. I was up late working on a project, which was turned in online already, and there was really no point in being marked "super late" as opposed to "absent."
This weekend was amazing. Josh drove Senia up here on Friday, they got someone else to sign them in, and they showed up at the door to my room. They helped out when I tried to run the first session of the D&D game -- more about that later, when I have more time, meeting people for dinner verrrrry soon -- and then Josh left to stay with people he knew in the area. Spending the entire weekend with Senia and awesome school-people? Perfect. No other way to describe it.
I couldn't get the Batman valentine cards, but I found something much, much better. Cthulu. XD My original plan was to find some sort of heart-shaped anything and attach it to the plushie, but I bought it that afternoon and decided to give it to Senia rather than make her wait/pay to ship it. Romantic, isn't it? >.>;;
I try not to slash them. I really try. And then Lassie goes and vouches for Shawn in court, right to the judge's face---! It was probably Lassiter's lack of belief in Hornstock, rather than his belief in Shawn, but still... He got Shawn's bike back. I squee'd.
What's that, Juliet? Shawn's missing something obvious about Lassiter? He's totally gay for him? <333
Oh, Hornstock. You are ridiculously adorable. Please come back from time to time. You and Buzz should be adorable together. Please? :D?
Plotwise, yeah, it was silly. Normally, ridiculous court scenes both me, but this time I was just amused. Can't get angry at it, even if the confessions seemed forced/out of nowhere.
I'm pretty sure Shawn's accident was the one from Spellingg Bee... But that wasn't his fault, and would've happened regardless of what Shawn was or wasn't driving. Henry's concern is understandable, but he should've cited a different situation. Stalker-y, watching where Shawn parks his bike... Now one can see where Shawn got the idea from (in reference to following Gus to the planetarium).
I feel like the character interaction was almost more memorable than the plots. The glasses-chick did it, eh? She was far from ugly, and Hale (Hail?) seems like the sort of guy who'd bang almost any girl if she made a move on him. Why didn't she just... try some more? Bonus points for greenscreen, though!
Watched the preview for next week. Henry + Lassie interaction yesss! I really hope they show some of the fishing action, because any dialogue between those two will be priceless. For character development for all parties involved. Getting to know Henry will help Lassiter understand Shawn, right? *_*;;
Lassiter's blog is possibly the most brilliant thing ever. I'm a total loser and signed up for the texts/watch-and-win-questions, and the only IC messages seem to be from Gus. (Only started getting 'em recently, so I don't know about the first half of the season.) And the questions get replies back from Shawn. I really wish Lassiter or Juliet would say something every so often. o_o;;
ALSO, LASSIE NITPICKS GRAMMAR. I think I'm in love. XD I should, uh, try to read this more frequently. The ability to capture that voice-- It makes me remember how hard it was to write a sample Lassiter entry when I tried to apply for him at some RP that decided to temporarily close about three hours after I posted... I can't quite remember what possessed me to try, though. o_o Original point being? GRAMMARNAZILASSIE. WIN.
I really want to work on another sound-thing, but I'm afraid that the next episode will have amazing clips that I won't have worked in, y'know? But I also don't want to wait so long to make another one. Feh.
