Francis Bacon
Went to see the retospective of Francis Bacon.
Very powerful, raw, emotional expressive art
work. Amazing. Aside from the obvious
nightmare images the one painting that stood
out for me was the one he did of Van Gogh.
Probably because the colours, composition
and form of the painting was so different to
all his other works.
Was interesting as well being such a huge
David Lynch fan, to see how Bacon's work
rubbed off on Lynch
