Well, Hello LJ...
I made this account a few weeks ago to comment on someone else's journal, but I've been hopping too much to start in on one myself. I have a blog on blogger, but I have trouble with the thing, and blogger operates different on groups and stuff, so maybe this will work out better.
Short intro - I am almost twenty one, just got my first job, and yes - my lab partner in seventh grade science class called me Critic or Nitpick all the time. I notice flaws, and assume others want to know about mistakes... I can turn it off when it's other people, or at least ignore it, but when it comes to me, I can't stop the nitpick.
Hard trying to become a fiction writer when I start to criticize the plot when I'm one paragraph in.
I'll be back later, to do a writers block thing.
