Insanity of Life-RL with Nakamori and Conan
It was amazing, really, how totally insane one's life could become in a little under two days. First, his daughter vanishes. That was an abnormal incident, but basically normal. That is, until he starts to LOOK for them.
Aoko's phone was in Kyoto. Kaito was supposed to be heading home by now to Aya. And he had no clue whatsoever where Hakuba actually was.
And then that kid. Edogawa Conan, who the papers said was a rival for the KID. It always annoyed him, but he only appeared every once and a while. He knew the kid was smart. He just thought he was a smart kid who could easily understand KID's way of thinking. Even being near forty, the guy still acted childishly.
He didn't expect the kid to apparently be the teenage Detective Kudo Shinichi! But there was no clear way to refute the evidence. Their fingerprints were a perfect match. Of course, he erased the log and Conan's finger prints from the computer's record. No reason to give a hacker an easy time of it, but what he said.
A teenager turning into a kid from a poison from a secret organization. That same organization that sent snipers after KID. And the same organization that kidnapped his daughter. Then posted to an ONLINE COMMUNITY about it!
One that, apparently, KID was also on.
And then there was this deal with viruses.

However, if there was something Ginzo was, was adaptable. One didn't chase KID for as long as him and not learn to go with the flow when you needed too. Which was precisely why he was walking into the restaurant under the Mouri Detective Agency to talk to one shrunken Kudo Shinichi.
