I've been to see Toyama-san. She woke up for a few minutes. She was disorientated, but she was coherent. The doctors say that there's a high chance she'll become fully conscious in the next two weeks

Kaito-kun, you've never had to deal with making illusions last beyond just the show. Sure, people might not figure out how the trick works, but they know they were tricked.
Letting them now they were tricked could do horrible things, especially since there isn't an easy excuse for it.

What illusion did you have to maintain that was of real consequence after the show was done?
It's a different world for us, Kaito-kun. It's not a different world for Crocker-san. There's more than one way to ruin a life. Getting a man arrested for kidnapping a girl whose body is never recovered is a good way to do that.

...yes.
First scenario. We heal her and sneak her out of the hospital. The hospital KNOWS this man. He's recognized by the nurses. Now, he brings in some odd foreign girl who was in a coma and then she vanishes. Then they find out they can't track her down at all, find out he lied about her being a foreign exchange student. So, a girl who wasn't supposed to be here that he lied about his connection to her suddenly vanishes. More than likely he'll either be arrested for kidnapping her, or at least haboring an illegal immigrant. And considering what I heard, there would be a high chance he'd be convicted.
Second scenario, we heal her and don't let her move. The hospital finds out she's all better and since it seems that way of healing wouldn't be normal there, she becomes an oddity. And then people find out she doesn't exist. So not only if we get her out, she can never go to that world, Crocker-san is still in trouble.

But everyone knows they're tricked when Kaitou Kid leaves the stage.
Because he knew her too well. If he was more flippant, fine, but he wasn't. He clearly knew her and they'd want to know more about her. If nothing else, he was haboring an illegal immigrant.

If she wakes up within the first two weeks, there's very little chance of any permanent damage.
If she doesn't wake up after a week, then we do something.

She's giving good signs. The chances are low that it would be.

And I've already made the papers, but enough digging and you can find out papers are fake.
