So... someone attempted to disprove one of my stories.
I should really be a lawyer or something. It would be fun.

One thing i'm going to get out first...you have an interesting story. I totally
agree the world is going around drugs and drinking but miss chiky girl you need
to get your facts straight about how drunks and druggies act. Kay?
Facts like drunks don't get friendly. I sure don't and i'm sure as hell others
don't either. Yeah, they can get emotional and seem friendly but once all that
crying and crap is through and they're still influenced with whatever they were
drinking they're not friendly. I've dealt with a lot of drunken friends so i
know what i'm talking about.
As for the druggies. Yeah sure there are drugs that make you hallucinate but you
will never mistaken things for other things. It's kinda impossible and weird at
the same time. You have some mind in check when your high. When people get high
they do it to become calm or just for the feeling of being calm. Almost like you
don't have a care in the world. When something doesn't corporate with you, you
start to fucking laugh at it becuase it becomes funny before you become lazy and
give up and the stupid ass thing. Experience. Trust me. O..with her friend
selling weed and not smoking it totally does not work out. You can't sell and
not smoke. It's like totally not possible. Becuase you're around it you'll be
tempted into it and...it's just not possible. Nor is having someone stop just
like that. But we haven't finished the story so we'll see what happens.
We read about a paragraph and we were already bored but we actually went through
the entire story and it took kinda slow to get some motivation in me to want to
read more. Sweetie i know it's your story, that you can do what ever you want
with the characters but when you want to create something to go with the real
world, then you got to get facts straight. It's more interesting that way, plus
people like me get offended when you think certain things about druggies and
drinkers.
That was a factor for my friend who you totally dissed off. Later.
OoooOoOOooOOOooOoOo
Thank you for the review, especially on a story that I figured most have forgotten. Unfortunately, it seems your review was motivated by an urge to correct me, but that's quite alright. All reviews are welcome.
Yes, I do know drunks who get very, very friendly. I know one who, really, one of the most sure-fire ways of telling he is drunk is that he's talking to everyone, or trying to, anyway. Therefore, I based Heero's actions off of his; when Heero sobers up, he pushes Minako away. He doesn't want to be friendly. It is the drunken feelings talking. You don't even have to be totally sloshed; just drink enough to get a buzz. It is a proven fact that alcohol loosens up inhibitions, makes people more likely to strike up conversations with strangers, or to do things they would, in no way, do at any other time.
I'm glad that you know what you're talking about, but my experiences have been entirely different, and that is what I am speaking from.
I disagree on the "selling but not smoking" issue. It is entirely possible to sell drugs that one is not using. It isn't common, but it IS possible. Otherwise, that's like saying that people who sell alcohol in their stores are obviously alcoholics. What about people who get prescription medication, and then sell it instead of using it? Are they not dealers who don't use their drugs? Just because you haven't seen it, or heard of it, nor can imagine it, does not mean that such things do not exist.
Besides, you should remember that the story is being told from Minako's point of view. Minako isn't an omniscient, omnipotent god like many make her out to be. Just because all that Minako knows Heero is "on" is weed... does not mean that is all he has. What is to say that Heero hasn't taken something else, and Minako has mistakenly assumed he smoked weed? She's not exactly a master drug dealer.
The story isn't meant to be a totally factual and accurate article on alcoholics and drug users; that's for places like DARE and other anti-drug organizations to write and publish. This fanfic was written in the form of a speech, one of those passionate speeches people give at anti-drug rallies; the kind that are entirely from personal experience. That personal experience and understanding warps the speech somewhat, as does the emotion Minako experienced in telling it. You can't expect her to agree with your experience and your viewpoint, any more than you can expect me to have experienced the same people and reactions that you have.
I'm sorry you thought this was so boring, but since you came into this fanfic apparently looking for revenge, maybe you weren't exactly open-minded. At least, that's what I gathered from your rather confusing last paragraph or so. Are you saying you were reviewing in retaliation for a flame of mine upon a friend, or because I disgusted your friend with my fic? I'm not completely sure. Oh well.

P.S. I can't do whatever I want with the characters, because they aren't mine. That's what a disclaimer is for, obviously. It is called analyzing the character, and then predicting what might happen when provided with the proper stimuli.
