So zombie night was pretty sweet. Alyssa and I had a great time, although we were SO fucking tired driving home. I can't stay up all night anymore. I know I texted my mom saying we were home around 6, but I don't remember walking in the door at all.
I now have the interwebs on my phone. Dangerous. It's teeny tiny and a pain in the ass on my current phone, but in a week or so I should be getting my first smart phone. Also dangerous. It's all touch screen. I'm so going to break it. Do they make cell phone armor?
I'm getting the Samsung Behold 2. Originally they were supposed to be $300 per phone, but my mom found online that new T-Mobile customers could get them for free, so somehow she bitched her way to getting all 4 phones upgraded for free. The reviews I'm finding online all rave about how great it is so hopefully I'm not disappointed. The 'cons' people are listing (slight lag when scrolling, a few unnecessary buttons, limited battery life) aren't really huge deals to me. I'm just worried about getting used to the touch screen and well, not breaking it.
5 MP camera with flash + unlimited web = good enough for me.
You don't have to switch screens to switch between functions which is cool. It opens multiple browsers at once and has 3 desktops (why for?? we'll see). A lot of the apps are apparently free. And the touch screen blacks out while you're on the phone so you don't hang up on people with your cheek. Convenient. Considering I do that with buttons.
Mental note: Get a hard case, smudge-protecting stickers, and an upgraded battery.
