I talk about zombies a lot on LJ...
I posted a couple months ago that my mom wants some HOH people to do Thriller and the Time Warp - dressed as zombies - at her wedding reception. It's September 27th, 2009, in (or at least very close to) Toms River. Compensation will be free food and open bar, and I'm willing to throw in some help with gas if needed. And maybe afterwards we can get a couple hotel rooms and continue the party HOH-style. So, who's interested? I'm gonna need a head count and to start figuring out when/how/where some rehearsals can be held (obviously closer to the date). It doesn't have to be all of cast or anything, like 9 or 10 people would be ideal, but the more the merrier. Comment if you're interested, I'll probably send out a more formal email to cast as well later on.
Speaking of zombies! Partially thanks to my recent zombie dream, I've started brainstorming an idea for a novel and/or maybe a screenplay. It's about zombies, of course, but tied into a psychological thriller. I don't want to reveal too much about it until I actually start writing it, but I think it has some awesome potential. I've kinda started coming out of my creative block lately, so this is the first really great story idea I've had in a while. I'm pretty excited. My main worry about it right now is that I have SO MANY ideas and I'm afraid once I put it all down on paper, it's going to be too long. I dunno, I'm just excited to have a good idea come out of me. It's been a while.
Oh and speaking of horror movies, I finally saw Teeth. It was pretty disappointing - for a movie about vagina, there was an AWFUL lot of penis and a serious lack of vag. The story didn't really go anywhere, either. If you knew it was about a girl with teeth in her twat, you knew the whole plot. Although it was cool to see Lou and Casey's lovechild as the older brother. =P
As disappointing as it was though, it was still enjoyable simply for how bad it was. And watching movies with Larry's interjections always makes it better, lol.
