Yay! I've always wondered why Dean loved pie so much and now we finaly know the reason. I like the way you included John being at Bobby's as the probable reason that he suddenly remembered Dean's birthday. Sammy's attempt to make Dean's birthdy memorable was awesome!

Poor Sam, sliced finger instead of awesome meal - but still, there was pie and a lifetime of it to follow so that's ok.

I had to laugh at the soccer match though, that was one hell of a game with 13 goals scored in one game! (I take it you are not that into footie then...)

My daughter plays soccer, and that's the score of her last game -- 7-6. (they lost) And yeah -- it WAS one hell of a game! She was WRINGING with sweat....

Nope, that was Sam's contribution....:-D

Her team rotates in and out of positions (still learning the game) and she did assist with three or four goals. The last point, though, was scored when she thought the game was over and had left her position as goalie.

She cried ALL the way home.
